Education is essential for every society and individual. These qualities of the individual should be developed for the improvement of the country. So, it is clear that education plays an integral role for overall individual, social and national development. It enables an individual to realize his highest self and goal. The major functions of education are: socialization- is a process where a person learns about role, status and value that should have in a society. It is a constant learning, where, children learn more based on their own interactions with other people which is in his/her society. Social innovation promotes collaborative action, creative thinking & innovative action to address social needs while cultural innovation refers to innovations in the goods or services offered by a cultural organization. Thus, learning education in its various fields affects to form human development especially in its society and culture driven innovation takes place: discuss the functionalist view on education.
