Document Summary

Conceptualising violence, part iv: epistemic violence, resistance & justice. Epistemic injustice power & the ethics of knowing. Edinburgh law school; epistemic injustice links to an external site. Kinouani, g. , 2017- epistemic homelessness links to an external site. I think justice is the ability for people to receive reconciliation for wrongdoings that have been put upon them, there needs to be accountability taken for people who have done wrong and how it hurts other. I mean that"s the idea of justice for the society we live in because of how much violence, and how many people are hurt because of our actions. Looking deeper i think justice is equality, and the fact that everyone has peace in their lives and their rights are protected without something bad having to happen in the first place. The basic human necessities are valued for all, justice is caring for the collective and having the collectives best in mind.
