Visual processing limitations struggle with visual memory, visual-motor skills and processing what they see, which can affect their reading, tracking, writing and math abilities. The person may see the information clearly, but their brain cannot process the information they see. Fovea - rods are responsible for vision at low light levels (scotopic vision). They do not mediate color vision, and have a low spatial acuity. Cones are active at higher light levels (photopic vision), are capable of color vision and are responsible for high spatial acuity. The central fovea is populated exclusively by cones. Simultaneous contrast some hues appear different when adjacent to other hues.
