Right side of the vision field is controlled by the left hemisphere: right hemisphere: better with spatial relationships. Left side of the vision field is controlled by the right hemisphere: split brain studies, split brain patients. Left hemisphere controls the language able to verbally name ring but unable to name key (unable to do the things in his left side: right hemisphere controls the hand pick up the key. Brain lesions: physical damage to the brain, what is different, missing, or atypical to the normal cognitive function.
