We have prepared E3 medium for zebrafish embryos which consist of 34.8 g NaCl, 1.6 g KCl, 5.8 g CaCl2*2H2O,9.78g MgCl2*6H2O.
And at the end we added 3 ml 0.01% Methylene Blue. Why we need to prepare specific medium for zebrafish embryos and larva?Also what methylene blue is used for in this medium? Please give an explicit explanation for these questions.Thanks in advance.
