A scientist is studying tER site localization and Golgimaturation using photobleaching.
What conclusions should he draw from these experiments?
Experiment A. He discovered that a Sec12-GFP fusion recovers 35%of its fluorescence, but a Sec13 and a Sec23GFP only recovered 12%of their fluorescence.
Experiment B. He also used photobleaching on Golgi cisternae anddiscovered that a photobleached cis cisternae recovered itsfluorescence but that the medial and then the trans Golgi cisternaelost their fluorescence even though they hadn't beenbleached.
Please give one well stated conclusions for each, that could bedrawn for these following experiments.
