Your assignment is to find an interesting article related to science. Read and then briefly summarize it. Post your summary and if possible a link to the article if it is online. If it is not accessible online post the name of the journal it can be found in, the title of the article, the date it was published, and the author of the article. Related to science means you have a huge variety to pull from, examples could be nutrition, genetics, introduced species, global climate change, alternative energy sources, etc.

No copy paste!
Guidelines:

1. Make sure the article is scientifically sound. There are several very interesting science journals such as Nature, Lancet, Chemistry Today, etc. but you do not have to limit yourself to those specific ones. There are plenty of other quality magazines available either in the library or online such as National Geographic, Science, Popular Science, Smithsonian, etc.

2. The article you are reviewing must be at least one full page at a minimum. Too many articles are "sound bites" consisting of only a meager paragraph or two. I do not think you can write enough about a one paragraph blip posted online and still get full credit. How do I determine if the article you chose is one page? I am not going to count the number of words. Use your common sense here. If you can't write more than a short paragraph about the article, then the article was not long enough. Articles that are too short will not receive full credit.
