Why didn't humans evolve to hibernate like many other mammals?
As we discussed in the bioenergenics section, hibernation is one way to conserve energy we needed. Why do you think we don't hibernate like some animals?
Science Focus suggests its because we didn't haven't lived in sub arctic environments long enough to evolve this. If this is the case, do you think this would have been beneficial to our evolution as a species?
