IMMUNITY: Hello, I am trying to understand how our T and B cells have receptors for each specific antigen. How can there be a specific receptor for each antigen when there are so much different antigens? In a situation where a population is exposed to a new bacteria, how will their cells develop receptors specific for that new bacteria assuming that some of the population develops immunity and lives?
