Sediments contaminated with PCBs and DIOXIN in the large waterways, e.g. Hudson, Delaware, Passaic is of much interest in thenews and scientific research. Are there more advantages to let thesediments stay or more disadvantages to removing/ remediating thesesediments? Does the human health risk and ecological riskassessment factor into these sediments?
