For a genetic system that displays heterosis (heterozygote advantage), give the changes in frequency of both A1 and A2 (Îp and Îq) if:
p = 0.3, q = 0.7, s1 = 0.4 and s2 = 0.7
(in this case I deviate from Futuymaâs notation; s1 is the selection coefficient for A1 homozygotes and s2 is the selection coefficient for A2 homozygotes. These are listed as s and t in the text)
