Popular science features on wildlife typically capture cameraimages using natural light, or high-speed exposures. This is notpossible where the ambient light is extremely poor. E.g. Caves,Undersea
For beings accustomed to the stygian dark, the high illuminationfor a video camera and/or the flash of a still camera could both bethe equivalent of a 1" spanner wallop on the head or worse. Do we,inadvertently, injure the local ecosystem this way?
