What am I doing wrong? Lysozyme
Map Add 3 curved arrows to show the electron flow in the first step of the reaction, leading to formation of the structures shown to the right (not including H20). Hint: Begin with the nucleophilic attack of Asp52 on the anomeric carbon atom of the D ring Add 3 curved arrows to show the electron flow ie second step of the reaction, which results in the final products and the restoration of the original charge states of the carboxyl groups. Note: The E ring sugar on the right will not be part of this reaction step Glu35 Glu35 CH2 OH CH2OH O CH2OH CH2 OH но E ring Asp52 Asp52 Incorrect This mechanism is correct, but the wrong bond in the water molecule is being attacked. Redraw using the same mechanism but the other H atom and O-H bond Show transcribed image text
