Two ions isolectronic with carbon suboxide (C3O2) are N5+ andOCNCO+. The

C3O2 is linear whereas both N5+ and OCNCO+ are bent at centralnitrogen.

Suggest an explanation. Also predict which has the smaller outer-N-outer atoms

angle and explain your reasoning.
