In this synthesis, reagents from the table are used to carry out the indicated steps (shown in blue). In the box below, draw the structure of compound b. Use the wedge'hash bond tools to indicate stereochemistry. You do not have to explicitly draw H atoms. If a group is achiral, do not use wedged or hashed bonds on it. Show stereochemistry in a meso compound. If enantiomers are formed, draw both. Include counter-ions, e.g. Na=, I-, in your answer, but draw them in their own sketcher.
