1)Methadone, C21H27ON, is a drug used to treat individuals suffering from opioid addiction. Methadone is a weak base with pKb=5.60. Methadone is frequently administered in the form of its hydrochloride salt, methadone hydrochloride (C21H27ONHCl). Calculate the pH of a 0.400M solution of methadone hydrochloride.
