A solution is prepared by dissolving 0.001 Mole of NaCOOCH_3 (NaAc) into 1 L Dl water. Calculate the pH of the solution. Use pC-pH diagram provided below to find pH for 10^-3M NaCIO solution. Use the ionization fraction table, find the ionization fractions for the solution containing hydrofluoric acid (H_2S) and conjugate base species at pH 12.5 and 6.3. 10 mL NaOH solution with a concentration of 0.1 M is added to the 100 ml H_2SO_4 (0.005 M), calculate the pH for the mixture. NaOH (0.05 mol/L) solution is added to 1 L HCN solution (0.001 mol/L). Calculate the pH for the addition of 1, 5 and 10 ml of the NaOH solution.
