If I could please get a step by step solution on how to set up these calibration standards, it would be very helpful and appreciated. Lots of detail on no skipping steps please.
Part 1: Preparation of Calibration Standards For this lab each student will need to series of calibration standards covering the range of 0.5 ppm to 75 ppm. You will need to prepare enough standards to accurately determine the rollover point of your calibration curve. The dye stock solutions were prepared as follows. l) 0.2548 g of yellow dye #6 was added to a 250 mL volumetric flask and filled to the mark with DI water. You will have available a 250 to 1000 ul. pipette and ten 50 ml. tubes with 5 mL tions to make your calibration standards. I you want to use volumes greater than 1000 uLyou can do this by pipeting multiple times ie 2000 ul. 2mle e 1000 uL plus another 1000 ul then fill to mark You have to prepare a minimum of 10 mL ofeach calibration solution or you will not have enough to analyze,
