I need help with question 3 a and b.
SECTION DATE: NAME: Post-Lab Questions A student studied some reactions involving Pb, Cu and NiP* ions. First the student reacted the individual metal cations with 1 M HCl and 1 M NaOH solutions. The student then added some NH, to each of the cation-NaOH reaction mixtures. The observations for each test were recorded and are presented in the table below Reagent Added Test Solution Observations White precipitate forms precipitate dissolves upon addition of more HCL Pb(NOj1 NaOH White precipitate forms. Pb(NO)+NaOHNH NH No change observed. HC No reaction Cu(NO,) NaOH Blue precipitate forms. Cu(NO,)2+ NaOH NH Blue precipitate dissolves, orming clear blue solution. HC No reaction. NaOH White precipitate forms NH White precipitate dissolves, forming violet solution. Ni(NO3)2 Ni(NO): + NaOH 1. Based on the student observations, describe a procedure to: a. Confirm the presence of Pb2 in a mixture of Pb+ and Cu2 ions. Pb2+ and Ni2+ ions b. Confirm the presence of Nit* in a mixture of
