Compressed natural gas (which is methane, CH4) is used as a fuel for some buses and other fleet vehicles as a cleaner fuel than diesel. It is also produced in large quantities in the United States, so there is a local source of the fuel. The natural gas is stored a compressed gas in the fuel tanks of the vehicles. Suppose a compressed natural gas (CNG) bus has a 400 liter compressed gas tank with a pressure of 1430 PSI (which equals 97.3 atm or 9854353 Pa) of methane at a temperature of 25 C (298 K). What is the maximum work that can be performed by this fuel tank assuming that the methane burns completely to form CO2 and water vapor. Give the value as a positive number (since we are interested in the "work" being exported from the system). The ΔG for methane is -50.8 kJ/mol while the rest of the ΔG values are in the appendix of the textbook. The units for the final answer are kJ. Use exponential notation in the form of "1.0E+5" to enter the answer.
