Use words to distinguish between the following pairs of carbohydrates -- among the words you can use are compositional isomers (to distinguish aldoses and trioses -- such as dihydroxyacetone and glyceraldehyde); enantiomers (to distinguish D and L forms of a compound); diasteriomers and anomers. But you can use normal words also -- and should mix in some of them.
1. D-glucose and D-galactose
2. D-glucose and D-glucopyranose
3. D gluocse and L glucose
4. D glucose and D fructose
5. alpha-D-galactopyranose and beta-D-galactopyrnose
