Please provide all work for problem. Very confused on how to find final answer. Thank you.
Ethanol melts at 114 degrees celcius. The enthalpy of fusion is 5.02kJ/mol. The specific heats of solid and liquid ethanol are 0.97 J/g-K and 2.3 J/g-K, respectively. How much heat (kJ) is needed to covert 25.0g of solid ethanol at -135 degrees celcius to liquid ethanol at -50 degrees celcius.
