I'm a bit confused as to what the question is saying, socan someone please just look over my calculations and let me knowif I did them correctly, and if not, can you please let me know howto fix them? Thanks!


Suppose you got 70 mg of caffeine and you used all of itto synthesize caffeine

salicylate. What is the theoretical yield (in grams) ofthis reaction. Show your calculation.


Here are my calculations:

70 mg caffeine x (1 g caffeine / 1000 mg caffeine) = 0.07g caffeine

0.07 g caffeine x (1 mol caffeine/ 194.19 g caffeine) =0.00036 mol caffeine
