I am reading a statement off of my chemistry book that "theprincipal strong base are the hydroxides of group IA elements andgroup IIA elements (except Be)." I also read that the given commonstrong bases are: LiOH, NaOH, KOH, Ca(OH)2, Sr(OH)2, andBa(OH)2.

what I want to make sure is that Be(OH)2 is not a strong baseright?
what about HOH? Mg(OH)2? RbOH? CsOH? FrOH? and Ra(OH)2? are theseconsidered as strong base?
