Globality is a social condition characterized by the existence of global economic, political, and cultural interconnections and flows that make many of the currently existing borders and boundaries irrelevant. Globality refers to epochal shifts in social and political organizations that have irreversibly altered the political world and our daily lives. Globality focuses our attention on new technologies, social and political issues that transcend territorial boundaries, and the possible emergence of the planet as the relevant space for political action. Globalization is a set of social processes that are thought to transform our present social condition into one of globality. It includes the creation, expansion, and intensification of social interconnections and interdependencies on the subjective plane of human consciousness.
