Hiding and covering their bodies seems to be a general response to the fall. Fear of exposure: when christ appears to them, adam seems to cover himself. Long, winding rhetoric, using language to hide and evade responsability. Eve, on the other hand, takes responsability immediately. Inversion of gender roles in the final few books.
