Refugees have to make claims from their home country so that they are stopped before they come to canada. Canada"s refugee policy has the same criteria as for immigrants. Interdiction- refugees have to give documents in order to have permanent residence. If you do not, you have to wait five years until you can get this. Based on the assumption that ppl w. out identification papers abuse the system or they pose a threat b. c they aren"t who they say they are.
