Considers the individual influence on health behaviour as well as other levels of influence on health behaviours: physical environment, community, society, government. Each person is significantly affected by interactions among overlapping ecosystems: ecosystem: relationship between community of living things with each other and their physical environment. At each level, different theories and models can be used to explain physical activity behaviour and create physical activity interventions. Interpersonal/relationships: the immediate systems in which people interact, friends, family, work, teams, workout classes, support, learned norms, reinforcement. Immediate environment in which your social interactions occur in. Larger social network that the organizations operate within. School board, western athletics, spectrum: policies, facilities/accessibility, expectations. Cis, municipal, provincial & national gov"t: rules, regulations, funding, values, expectations, philosophies. Imagery/ modelling: coping mechanisms, reflect on previous experiences.
