Origins of the family traditional orthodox family vs. victorian era. Men try to entrench the social construction of reality. They would like to have that benefit in them. What we find in the actual writing of the trad/ortho which was done primarily by the male researchers : Men are instrumental persons instrumental labours do the physically work (work with hand) Men are active participants in the external world public sector. Men are responsible for the socio- economic status of the family in society that why u are asked for ur dad does and not for mom for living. Women are confined to home that"s where they want them. Women are domestic caretakers do the unpaid work. Women are expressive individuals kiss the booboos and make them better. Women are in charge of the home front they know hwen to put on the party, when the cooking has to be done, when the celebrations are in the fam.
