The bourgeoisie, the petty bourgeoisie and the proletariat = all connected. Marx"s analysis of exploitation & alienation: the nature of productive work, good, the human ability to create things is satisfying and rewarding. It allows us to be social and work with others and reflect as marx saw as our communal nature. Slavery & feudalism: under slavery and feudalism, exploitation exists due to the creation of surplus. What is alienation: refers to the separation of workers form other things. Changes in production: growth of large scale manufacturing and the demand for wage laborers to start working in the factories, growth of large scale farms which competed with the feudal lords in terms of produce. Increasing use of wage laborers rather than serfs to work the land.
