We are only aware of the exact things that hit ours sensory receptors and that our brain fills in a huge amount of detail. Everything that comes into your brain is sensed and sent by your pns. Autonomic nervous system: fight or flight, calming down to sleep at night: sympathetic and parasympathetic balance each other. The two systems can give you a range of what you can do and the speed and timing of how you do things. What is important about the difference between the two of these is how the fibers extend through the body and to specific regions, the fibers extend from different regions to the brain.
