Such as shared beliefs, you may engage in some behavior in a group that you wouldn"t when you"re alone. Norms are ways of specifying what are acceptable or unacceptable attitudes and behaviors of group members. Group socialization: three process of group socialization. Individual group relation: group socialization have some assumptions. Group exists over time and individuals move into or out of groups. Groups and individuals exerts reciprocal influence over each other: group socialization have five stages of group membership, separated by four role transitions.
