Socrates says: to harm someone is to make them worse with respect to human virtue, justice is a human virtue. What is harmful is to become less just or less virtuous then what we were before, Punishment would make children become more virtuous, leads them to understand justice. Socrates believes that some adults would be something like children, they require some punishment to become more virtuous. Enters the conversation hunched up like a wild beast. He"s aggressive, irritated , impatient with what socrates is saying. Irony- saying one thing but meaning another, a way of ridicule, using language that has an inner meaning for a privileged audience. Socrates is being deceitful and possibly liar, ridicules people behind their backs. Thervecitiz has a view which is very strong, (pg. 16) i say that the just is nothing other than the advantage of the stronger establish ruling body .
