Society and our beliefs about it: ideology- certain ideas and beliefs we have that sustain social order, but reality does not match ideology, ex: free and equal society when we know that reality is not like that. You can predict many things because there is an underlying worldview: consciousness is not reducible to any particular society - there is always a distinction between the two. Humans relationships to the universe, nature, each other. Ex:bible- tree of life and tree of knowledge (separation between human and nature, and life and knowledge) Wakefulness not caught by meditation practices - just wanting to be, alert etc We readily make distinction of in here and out here sight and hearing is internally but we act as if we are actually separate from objects instead of having a unified experience. What is being dominated cannot protest - nature and body cannot speak the same language as the head - getting ignored and dominated.
