Document Summary
Today i will be discussing you my progress so far for my technological design summative. First, i have chosen to go to the craftworker sector of technological design. This means that i would like to combine some kind of mechanism with a fine tuned piece of masterpiece with the primary material of wood. I chose this design because it shows my creative power and imagination towards a final piece that represents me. If you may recall, i chose to make a clock with gears in working order by attaching a motor in parallel to the clock"s contraption. So far, i have printed the gear templates which i made through autocad (a circle with one groove, then using the mirror tool to finish the cogwheel). I also scaled the gears and sharpened or smoothened them. I have also found some thin wood from orange boxes to make the gears and the frame out of.
