Social changes as a result of the war. Social responses to the war: unprecedented unity within the us, common sense of danger, west coast invasion, heightened use of images as propaganda for the war. War bonds, v for victory: more women entered the workforce. Entering jobs that were seen as male job. Expected to give jobs back to men when they came back.
