Please compare and contrast our two selections for this week, using the Elements of Music from our Piece Analysis Worksheets. Both are folk songs; one from England, and one from Mexico. Our text's author, Hoffer, states that it is important for us to become educated in the music of other cultures because it enables us to be better citizens of the "global village" that we all share - namely, our world.
