- The building section associated with the floor plan in Figure 3.1 is shown in Figure 3.2. Assume a live load of 2.90 kPa on all three floors. Calculate the axial forces produced by the live load in column C3 in the third and first stories. Consider any live load reduction if permitted.
Note: Assume the top-level (elevation 11.10m from ground level) as a typical floor level.
