BASIC ANALYSIS PRACTICE
In a scientific investigation there are three types of variables. The independent (manipulated) variable is the variable that is changed by the investigator. The dependent (responding) variable is the variable that may be affected as a result of the change. The controlled variable is the variable in the investigation that is not changed and therefore, remains constant.
1. What is the independent variable in pot A?
2. What is the dependent variable in pot B?
