Promote reduction in space around pelvis area. Affects sijs + sacrotuberous and sacrospinous ligaments. Places with ligaments if excessive pressure is applied, avulsion fractures may occur. Xray ap of the pelvis, no superimposition. Vertebrae, iliac ala and femoral heads appear normal, gas bubbles present in the pelvic area and surrounding soft tissue appears normal. Additionally seen on the xray there is disruption to the inferior contour of the obturator foramen on the right, indicating a fracture through the inferior pubic ramus. On the ct scan can see there are small fragments around the fracture and displacement of the right pubic bone forwards. (cid:862) i(cid:374)terruptio(cid:374) of the bo(cid:374)e with a tria(cid:374)gular hypo-dense line and a reduction n the orbutrator fora(cid:373)e(cid:374)(cid:863) On the ct a hypodense fracture line and disruption in the contour of the left acetabulum indicates an additional fracture which cannot be seen on the ap pelvis x ray.
