Foods/beverages:yogurt, cheese, chocolate, butter, pickles, sauerkraut, soy sauce, food supplements food thickeners, alcohol, silage. Food flavoring agents and preservatives: organic acids -> citric, malic and ascorbic acids, monosodium glutamate (msg) used in foods. Foods: mushrooms, truffles and some red and green algae are consumed directly, yeasts are used as food supplements for humans and animals.
