Relatively stable patterns of social relations (social structures) govern human relations. Concern with how social structures maintain or undermine social stability. Society is separated into two class groups: proletariat (workers) and bourgeoisie (production owners) Class conflict: the struggle between classes to resist and overcome the opposition of other classes.
