Torque
The ability of force to cause a rotation depends on Three
Factors:
1. The magnitude (F) of the force
2. The distance (d) from the pivot (the axis about which
the object can rotate) to the point at which the force
can be applied.
3. The angle at which the force is applied
Torque: Measures the effectiveness of a force at causing
an object to rotate around an object. Torque is the
rotational equivalent of force.
