Sceptical he kills monk as experiment and is unconvinced. There"s apparently a karma duality of the king is holy because he is king, but also sinful because he killed to become the holy king. Supposed to be symbolic of the holiness of sickness. This leads to idea for public health king will be healthier if people are healthy, his health is reflected in them.
