Populism: anti-elite (necessary, not sufficient, represents people (moral, not empirical), true, authentic, anti-pluralist these people are not people that matter. Rejection of numbers/crowds/votes: he"s not just lying, it"s not just facts, he does not represent empirical america, a silent majority". Liberal nightmare he golfs, but doesn"t do anything. How populists govern: occupy the state put partisan cronies in positions of authority, clientelism patronage, nepotism, help friends/hurt enemies, suppression of civil society opposition party , words to use. Populists don"t like intermediaries, go straight to people twitter.
