Personal projects and free traits: personality and motivation reconsidered. Two units that are part of it: personal projects and free traits. Can be any personally relevant action (cid:523)doesn"t need to be intrinsically. Qol is enhanced by having personal projects that are meaningful, meaningful) manageable, not overly stressful, and supported by others. Active approach is better than avoidant projects. Some serve to anchor the person as an individual: core projects. Scripts we follow to advance personal projects. Biogenic (genetic), sociogenic (norms and rules), and idiogenic (personal core beliefs etc. ) sources. Free traits emerge when: we enact sociogenic scripts to follow idiogenic aims regardless of biogenic traits. E. g. acting extraverted as a manager in order to further your beloved company. Bad: can lead to mental break down. Personal projects and free traits: a social ecological perspective. Qol: stable and dynamic aspects of person and context and personal action constructs (pac units) concerns projects etc. that animate our lives.
