Late 1940 and 1950"s show how women were at home with kids while men were primary breadwinners. The settlements that are reached in this time will end up lasting for a very long time. In canada lasting until the 70"s and a big chunk will last until now. 1947-1948 becomes clear canada"s economy is going to be very good.
