If this doesn"t work the persons stress will increase and they move onto the next step. 4th concept: state of active crisis: person stays in a state of active crisis for a limited period of time (3-4 weeks, during this time the individual can experience rough psychological reactions (ie. anxiety, guilt, hostility, depression) 6th concept: concept of hope: without hope clients will remain overwhelmed, confused and powerless over their lives.
