Science is about making observation, asking questions, developing hypothesis and setting up experiments to answer your questions. Every living organism has to seek out energy and transform it. By example: energy will enter a system such as light and glucose, be transformed then exit the system in ways such as heat. Living organism must have access to energy in order to do work (moving, eating, transportation within cells etc. ) Structure correlate to function of a certain molecule, cells and organelle. Science and technology are not the same, but they do work together! Technology take what has been learned in science and applies it. Science can then use what has been observed in technology to answer questions. The cell is the lowest level of organization that can perform all activities required for life. Genes- units of inheritance that transmit information from parents to offspring.
