Izzy and cynthia both experience an unexpected pregnancy and both the babies have a chance of being born with a disease/disability. They both experience extreme bad luck throughout the plays. Izzy: is born with a severe mental disability, both of her parents die in a sudden car accident and she unexpectedly get pregnant and is unable to recall who the father is. They are clearly both victims of uncontrolled fate and have no say in the matter of how there live should turn out. Both characters can be connected very easily together when merging the plays into one play.
